Landing Options: Large open fields south to Kibbutz Ein Gedi – short walking distance to the car
Advantages: Easy and relatively rock-free takeoff point. During east wind, one can soar along the 90km stretched cliffs of the Dead Sea. One can combine the day with swimming in Nahal Arugut, Nahal David or the Dead Sea. Badulina restaurant in Kibbutz Ein Gedi is excellent. Comfortable parking at Ein Gedi Campsite
Disadvantages: The site has a low potential for XC
Caution: Avoid flying into the canyons of Nahal David and Nahal Arugut – potential rotor and funneled wind
